New Fundraising Concert Series

Nigel Short

We are delighted to announce the first in a series of fundraising concerts for MtSS. The Cathedrals Series will take place in Episcopal Cathedrals around Scotland, over the coming years. These concerts will be performed by the unique choral group, Vox Coelestis, conducted by the ex-Kings Singer and Director of the world-renowned ‘Tenebrae’, Nigel Short.

Vox Coelestis exists purely to raise money for charities, and performs to the very highest standards – click here to listen to concert excerpts. Their singers sing in the top cathedral & chamber choirs from across the UK, and give of their time and talents without fee. Only through that generosity can they achieve so much for charities. They have now raised over £17,000 for charities.

Audience comments have included:

“Left me gasping in awe and wonder”
“One of the most exceptional and moving musical experiences I’ve had in over 40 years of concert-going”

This first performance will be in St Ninian’s Cathedral in Perth on Saturday 5th September 2020 at 7pm.
